Everyday Embroidery – Julia Berolzheimer

Outfit Details:
Vita Kin Dress, Marlo Laz Necklace, FoundRae Necklace

I can always tell the thoughtfulness and craftsmanship in something – it’s always in the details. As someone who designs and makes products, I appreciate (or don’t) so many details. One of them being embroidery, especially when it’s done by hand. All of our Parterre embroidered products are done by hand – not machine, like many similar products. That’s usually why there’s such a big price difference between embroidered items- ones that are less are usually done by machine, vs hand, which takes so much time and skill. Every year I treat myself to a new Vita Kin dress. This is a Ukrainian brand, who’s designs are so intricate, they can take up to three weeks to complete. They are expensive, and many people copy them, but they are unbelievably beautiful in person. Luckily, there are so many  similar options out there now, that are much less, like this and  this. See below for more of my favorite everyday embroidered pieces.
