All you need are some matching hoodies and spider masks, and you’re ready to gallivant across the city superhero-style.

If you’re looking to take the classic flapper Halloween costume up a notch, look no further than the most iconic 1920s couple that never was: Gatsby and Daisy. Whether you want to re-create the looks from Baz Luhrman’s iconic The Great Gatsby movie from 2013, emulate an earlier version of the film, or base your costume purely on the original Fitzgerald book, you can’t go wrong. You can wear this costume as a couple, with friends, with your pooch—the list goes on. For Shaggy, you just need a solid green T-shirt with brown pants. For Scooby, you could go all-out with a whole Scooby-Doo suit, but if you want to keep it more low-key, we recommend a brown dress with simple brown accessories.
